Kelsey Gray has spent much of his time in Koh Tao adventuring on the cliffs. He’s developed new routes in several areas on the island as well as climbing nearly every route researched. Working with local shop owners and developers allowed Kelsey to gather information for this guidebook with the most accuracy possible. He has wanted to create a guidebook for the island since making the first test chapter in 2015 while climbing with the Koh Tao Climbing Project.

His guidebook experience comes from creating the Alaska Rock Climbing Guide (three editions), co-authoring the Alaska Bouldering Guide and the recent Alaska Ice Guide. He has 9 books in print and is on his second year living in Thailand. When not adventuring different areas on the island he’s travelling around the world in search of great climbing.
