Arian Manchego

I started climbing back in the 80’s on the West Coast, first in California and later in the Pacific Northwest. When I arrived in the Quebec City area in 1998 I joined the small but active climbing community. Together with many friends, I’ve participated in many projects, opening routes and climbing areas and just having a great time generally. My first guidebook on rakkup is for the Lac Long, a beautiful cliff next to a lake that offers great climbing on excellent Canadian Shield rock. Route development is hard work, but it’s also a creative process that makes us richer, both personally and as a community. Let’s all do our part in keeping our sport GREAT by donating our time, respecting access conditions and helping our brothers and sisters go CLIMBING.
