Hello, Red River Gorge climbers! We are pleased to tell you that the rakkup guide to Red River Gorge South, from Wolverine Publishing, is available as a 7-day trial free to all during Roctoberfest. This trial is supported by Outdoor Research, and we hope you all enjoy using our digital guidebook complete with turn-by-turn navigation to every climb to get the most out of the event.
Here are simple instructions for getting your guidebook:
1. Install our rakkup app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Go to the Settings page and get signed in. If you don’t have a rakkup account already, use the Register button to create one. If you do, use the Log In… button and sign in with your existing username and password.
3. Go to the Bookshelf and scroll to the Available Guides section (iPhone), or go to the Store page (Android). Scroll to the Red River Gorge South title, then tap on it.
4. Press the Try It button, then press it once more to confirm. That’s it! Your guidebook will start downloading and will be ready to open within about 5 or 10 seconds, depending on your connection speed. You may wish to keep rakkup active until all photos have been downloaded and cached, as rakkup guidebooks do not require any data connection and work beyond the reach of cell service.
